Responsibilities:
- PLC technicians maintain backups, documentation, and software revisions as part of maintaining these computer-based control systems.
- Scheduled maintenance and the commissioning of systems are also important aspects of the work.
- PLC technicians consult technical documentation, drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Meeting and knowing the client’s requirements for electrical and mechanical needs.
- Reading and interpreting the logical flow diagram.
- Using automation software to write PLC programs.
- Preparing documents to instruct the users how to use the device and other safety
- instructions.
- Testing the program using automation equipment for its reliability.
- Troubleshooting any faults in the system.
- Supervising the installation of PLC programs.
- Providing guidance and support to the Technicians.
- Maintaining the PLC programs.
- Working in coordination with Engineering and Production team.
