Internship

A three months program, available all year round in our locations: Bucharest/ Brasov/ Timisoara/ Cluj with a flexible schedule and based on dedicated career tracks: developer (front end, back end), designer, consultant (business transformation, SAP, security, strategy), data scientist, technical specialist (test specialist, database admin, infrastrucrure specialist, technical support).

The IBM Internship, a full-time schedule with increased likelihood and desire to continue the collaboration as a fresh starter in IBM.

The program focuses to develop young graduates or students in the last year of studies.

From day one, we involve interns in awesome projects, all while making them have contributions and giving them the opportunity to adapt and learn directly in a productive environment. 

A learning curriculum is developed, aiming both at technical skills and personal ones. Experienced engineers, colleagues from Human Resources and Learning & Knowledge are all involved to structure this learning path.

New colleagues are constantly mentored, progress through a series of trainings, achieve hours of personal learning every year through our skills programs, obtaining several internal badges, receive constant feedback and guidance.

As an outcome a very high percentage of the interns decide to stay and develop a career within IBM.

The aim of an IBM Romania „Consultant” intern will be learning coding fundamentals together with other frameworks and technologies to build up a solid foundation that will help to easier perform in any of our projects, or consultancy; first to go through an intensive bootcamp program where emphasis will be on gaining essential knowledge and practicing that knowledge with hands on exercises.  After the bootcamp, there will be an integration into one of our delivery teams, learning how to build solutions and interact with client partners.
