MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The job position is opened within the Technical Department, part of Isover Factory – Ploieşti, Saint-Gobain Construction Products România. The main role is to coordinate the mechanical maintenance activity of the entire platform.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • responsible for mechanical maintenance activity in case of breakdowns;
  • conducts analysis, proposes and implements corrective actions to avoid recurrence of machinery breakdowns;
  • coordinates the planned and preventive maintenance activity: scheduling of operations, allocation of resources, spare parts management and contractor management;
  • spare parts assurance together with internal operational departments;
  • prepare work instruction for specific activity, standardize working method for technicians
  • trains technicians and operators on maintenance activities;
  • involved in the continuous improvement activities with local and global functions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering;
  • experience in an industrial environment with focus on maintenance;
  • strong technical knowledge;
  • good knowledge of English;
  • ability to work in team;
  • ability to communicate actively and openly with a cooperative attitude with other team members;
  • motivated and strong desire in professional growth.
