Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/ electronics engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in testing electric and electronic systems in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronics, including control systems, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Familiarity with software tools for data analysis and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Testing and Validation:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for electric and electronic components and systems in automotive applications, including power electronics, control units, and communication systems.
- Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Test Equipment and Setup:
- Set up and maintain test benches and equipment for various testing scenarios, including environmental testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations.
- Utilize specialized testing tools and software for data acquisition and analysis.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed test reports and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to provide feedback and recommendations based on test results.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electric and electronic systems during testing phases. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
