Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/ electronics engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in testing electric and electronic systems in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive electronics, including control systems, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Familiarity with software tools for data analysis and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Testing and Validation:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for electric and electronic components and systems in automotive applications, including power electronics, control units, and communication systems.
  • Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Test Equipment and Setup:

  • Set up and maintain test benches and equipment for various testing scenarios, including environmental testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations.
  • Utilize specialized testing tools and software for data acquisition and analysis.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed test reports and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to provide feedback and recommendations based on test results.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to electric and electronic systems during testing phases. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hardware and software engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
