Environmental Protection Officer

Responsibilities:

The environmental inspector will mainly deal with:

– Training of employees and subcontractors/providers in the field of environment

– Ensuring that all provisions of the legislation in force regarding environmental protection and waste management are respected, within the construction site

– Takes care of the training, education and information of the site personnel involved in the Environmental Management Plan.

– Checks the implementation of environmental measures at each work point

– Preparation of verification reports regarding the environmental aspects identified in the field

– Check the fulfillment of the requirements of the Environmental Agreement and the Environmental Management Plan in the construction site

– It is ensured that the waste generated on the construction site is managed in accordance with the legal requirements;

– Manages and controls materials and waste (keeps records of waste management, prepares the loading/unloading forms of hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to (HG 856/2002)

– Participates with the specialist sub-contactor in the monitoring of environmental factors and biodiversity

– presents information on how to carry out environmental protection activities;

– participate in the internal audit

– Preparation of data for the periodic evaluation of the environmental performance of the project.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in environmental protection field
  • No criminal record
