Mission Definition
Mission purpose:
- Be the Global Representative of the Quality Product Engineering Director in front of the Organs Project Director (PWT) (functional attachment) throughout the organ’s life cycle.
- Give the company confidence in achieving the QCD requirements and objectives of the projects, through a robust opinions’ declaration and agreements at milestones, while contributing to their convergence, within the standard rules defined by the DQSC
- Before milestones, ensure the convergence of quality and customer satisfaction with the different company’s metier. Alert the Organs Project Director if there is a risk of deviation.
- Prepare and/or deliver the opinions and agreements for milestones (according to delegation) by establishing an exhaustive and relevant analysis of the Quality and Customer Satisfaction situation of the projects, regarding the expected results.
- Be the guarantor of quality assurance respect in serial life.
Detailed missions:
For all developing organs:
- Define and deploy quality and customer satisfaction targets for developing projects and ensure that the received commitments respect the targets.
- Define and decide on the quality milestones to be applied to projects, as well as the expectations required at the milestones; share them with project stakeholders.
- Realize the quality assessment for milestones and prepare opinions and agreements, alert in case of gaps and hard points identification.
- Ensure the consistency and robustness of the commitments delivered by the métiers with the support of IQM. For this, it may be necessary to make direct evaluations of results in one of the areas.
- Pronounce opinions and agreements at project milestones, in agreement with defined delegations.
- Apply quality rules and standards in programs and projects.
- Decide the salability status of organs in the start-up phase, in line with quality rules.
- Realize the milestones’ PDCA in order to provide feedback to quality assurance department.
