Overview

We’re looking for a Python Software Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and building scalable backend applications. In this role, you’ll work alongside data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop data-driven services and high-performance software systems. It’s an excellent opportunity for students or developers eager to apply Python in real-world, production-level environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend applications and services using Python.
• Build APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate in a containerized environment and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or similar service patterns.
• Strong understanding of version control and Git workflows.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with data workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, Prefect).
• Experience with Pandas or other data manipulation libraries.
• Knowledge of machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Docker and microservices architectures.
• Experience building interactive dashboards (e.g., Streamlit, FastAPI + UI tools).

Ideal Academic Background

• Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or other technical fields.
