AWS/Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for assessing our IT infrastructure to help plan and deploy our ongoing cloud migration. You will also oversee the migration process and design, maintain, and monitor the new system, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud environment. The main responsibility is to configure cloud management services on AWS/Azure in the organization. Further it need to manage and monitor numerous AWS/Azure services that are involved, 2-4 years of experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems. Experienced provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS/Azure. Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available.

CORE ACTIVITIES :
- Manage and administer the AWS/Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
- Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within AWS/Azure
- Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
- Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions
- Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
- Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss
- Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized
- Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations
- Understand the metrics and also monitor the overall usage of several AWS/Azure resources
- Maintain the backups of these resources via regular on-premises backups with the help of different AWS/AZURE services
- Reduce the production time necessary to deploy the infrastructure for automation
- Make necessary improvements in resources and also work on resource tagging to designate plans and costs for governance, reporting, and budgeting
- Managing the complete AWS/AZURE life cycle, along with security, provisioning, and automation
- Administrating and establishing the architecture of multi-tier systems
- Fine-tuning and configuring various cloud infrastructures
- Performing services such as kernel patching, errata patching, and software upgrades
- Creating backups and managing disaster recovery
- Maintaining access control, as well as the integrity of data, throughout the platform of the AWS/Azure application
- Effectively monitoring performance degree and its availability
- Ensure level of fault tolerance based on business needs
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement remedies
