Requirements:
- Higher Technical Education – Materials Science and Engineering | Faculty of Mechanics
- Engineering experience (knowledge of vehicle parts, technical perimeters)
- Practice on microscopy or material analysis laboratory
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and parts functionality;
- English at an advanced level
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPt);
- Personal skills: communication, teamwork, result orientation, transparency, good time management skills, willingness to learn new things / evolution;
- Ability to analyze and synthesize ;
Responsabilities:
- Control of residual stresses on crowns, shafts and differential gears with X-ray diffraction method on finished parts (after different thermochemical processes, heat treatments
- Quality control of automotive parts (engine blocks, cracked shafts, connecting rods, valves, springs, dampers, ball bearings, transmissions, bolts, screws, nuts, welding, etc.) or raw products (steel bars, wires, plates) to ensure compliance with the drawing or material standard characteristics;
- Analyze defects in metal vehicle parts;
- Sampling and testing: cutting, fitting, grinding, polishing and etching of samples;
- Micrographic evaluation (martensitic, sorbed, bainite, ferrite, pearlite, etc.);
- Hardness and microhardness testing
- Carbide/nitride layer measurement;
- Measurement of coatings (chromate, phosphate, zinc).
