Job Description

The purpose of the service is during the launch phase or production life to :

  • Provide the technical expertise needed to solve problems in the hardware (components, design and manufacturing) and software (architecture, code reviews, debugging) fields;
  • Ensuring the rigorous application of analysis methods (Is-IsNot/FTA/ 5W2H) and their formalization in analysis files;
  • Organize and set up meetings with suppliers, experts, factories and other team members to steer analyses;
  • Set up all performance measurement indicators for the team and ensure their permanent visibility, as well as the disclosure of subjects with the highest risk;
  • Ensure training in diagnostic/bug reading tools and maintenance of team members’ skills;
  • Guarantee the performance and efficiency of analysis processes and tools, and integrate them into a continuous improvement process;
  • Continuously optimize the functioning of team members, based on the principles of Agile methods.

Managerial responsibilities:

  • Align the actions of Analysis Squad members with corporate strategy (Leader role).
  • Develop the performance of Analysis Squad members and support them by giving them all the necessary responsibilities (Coach role).
  • Cooperate with the Stage Manager to create a stable and sustainable reference for Quality of Life animation around connected systems,

Qualifications

This service requires expertise in : 

  • The field of automobiles and electrical and electronic systems, and more specifically in automotive incidentology and repair.
  • Automotive products, including electrical and electronic design and systems; 
  • Knowledge of GSR2 regulations and their impact on the vehicle’s electrical and electronic systems; 
  • Quality management; 
  • Expertise in operating safety and general automotive product safety; 
  • Electrical expertise for electric vehicles; 
  • Technical expertise in automotive electronics development tools (e.g. hardware, software, CAN);
  • Fluency in French and/or English; 
  • Mastery of the process management approach (ISO 9001).

Nice to have and represent a plus:

  • 2 – 5 years of expertise in analysis methods and quality assessment tools (8D/Hishikawa), quality problem-solving approaches, interpretation of a Weibull analysis; 
  • Expertise in Quality methodologies and tools (QC Story, 5 Whys, risk analysis, fault trees, FMEA, PDCA, operating safety); 
  • Expertise in document management and associated databases; 
  • Expertise in automotive product/process engineering; 
  • Expertise in diagnostics and troubleshooting; 
  • Cybersecurity expertise;
  • Vehicle repair;
